  • First results of Cory's shearwater tracking with GPS-logs in Berlenga Island (SPEA)
In 2010, SPEA continued to monitor Cory's shearwater population (estimated in 600-800 pairs) in Berlenga island. Berlengas archipelago was declared a marine IBA, and is currently home of the last remaining seabird colonies in mainland Portugal.
One of the results the data out of FAME logs produced was Antje Chiu Werner (Coimbra University) master thesis:
